Central & Eastern Europe is experiencing rapid movement from emerging market to prime market in the payment system landscape. The restructuration of these payment services to meet EU regulatory demands and the Single European Payment Area (SEPA) standards is a big challenge for all players involved and just the beginning of the payment globalization with all the opportunities that it entails.
What's new and different in 2009?
Our 2008 card events were highly attended and very successful, bringing together a rich mix of key-industry delegates, exclusive research and in-depth knowledge, key learning and Insight.
Cards and Payments 08 Attendance
2009 event brought a different perspective, switching our focus to emerging markets within Central and Eastern Europe. These markets offer opportunity for growth and expansion over the next few years and our conference allowed leaders in the field to talk about what they have achieved and how when entering these markets, including the pitfalls and challenges they had faced. This was a great opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge and insight from their direct experiences.
We did not exclude the more mature Western markets and highlighted what companies need to do to strive forward in the current climate.
