Objective:

  1. To inform the audience about the prepaid market in general and about prepaid products for Business and Government in particular.
  2. To inform the audience about recent research sponsored by MasterCard and growth potential markets in Europe for prepaid in Government.
  3. Case studies such as Carta Acquisti (Italy) PKO (Poland), or ABN-AMRO (Netherlands) and why a number of European Governments on different levels have chosen one or more prepaid products.
  4. To understand how the delegates use prepaid and / or how they plan to use prepaid in the future.

The audience will be taken through the opportunities and pitfalls in implementing a programme. How long will it take? What are the requirements? What are the funds needed? What can be the savings and benefits? How great is the need for administration, benefits tracking, risk limitation, and cardholder service? How do we ensure the citizen / client gets what he is entitled to? Which issuers or processors should we team up with?

The panel and audience will discuss the complexities of prepaid, the required elements that Government should look for when choosing a partner, andthe challenges to face when opening new programmes with current and new clients.
